The deposits of salt and minerals that hardened inside the kidneys are called kidney stones. They are also known as nephrolithiasis, Renal calculi urolithiasis.
Excess body weight wrong type of diet and medications, supplements, excessive body weight and supplements are another reason for causing kidney stones
There are 4 types of kidney stones. They are.
Uric and acid stones People who lose a lot of body due to the chronic diarrhea are at the risk of forming uric acid causing kidney stones. Metabolic syndrome or diabetes are the another symptom of kidney stones.The people who follow high level diet in proteins are affected by uric and acid stones
Struvite stones This stones are formed quickly and largely without showing the symptom of kidney stones.These stones are formed after urinary tract infections
Cystine stones The hereditary disorder called cystinuria is the reason for this kidney stone.This disorder causes the additional secretion of amino acids from the kidney.
Calcium kidney stones These are the most common type of kidney stonesThey are made up of calcium oxalate.

The above mentioned causes can leading to increase in the concentration of calcium oxalate to rise in the urine. Leading to the formation of kidney stones
Symptoms of kidney stone
Kidney stones symptoms will only be detected while moving the kidney or struck in the ureter.If they are not moving in the kidney they will not show this symptoms .Sometimes it may stuck the bladder or there may be over flow of the urine . It causes to swell up the kidney causing extreme pain.
- Pain radiating in the region of groin and the lower back
- Urination causes a burning sensation
- Waves of pain in intensity
- Sharp pain the lower back and side ,below the ribs
- Red brown or pink urine
- A continuous urge to urine
- Urinating more often or Urinating in small amounts
- Vomiting
- Nausea
- Fever due to the infection
Symptoms of kidney stone
There is no single reason for causing kidney stones. Several reasons may be caused by kidney stones . When the liquid part of the urine is not dissolved in the calcium , oxalate and uric acid it result in the formation of kidney stones

Treating kidney stones
The treatment varies according to the following factors
- How big is the stone
- What is the type of the stone
- Is the stone causing a pain
- Is the stone causing blockage in the urinary tract
If the stone is small it might lead to the prescribed pain and consume plenty of fluids that flush out of stone through the urethra.However the kidney stones vary in shape size and surgery.
Surgery This is the rare scenario where a tube is inserted to remove the stone.You will have to be available for 2 to 3 days in hospital after the surgery.
Lithotripsy shock waves are used to break the kidney stones into smaller pieces enough to pass out of the urine.It is done using general anesthesia at the time the patient will not feel the pain during the procedure
Ureteroscopy A tube is inserted in ureter to remove the stone or a laser is used to remove the pisces by flushing out of the system.
